Attention rationing for your machine army.

meathook is a status board for AI coding agents. You run them on several machines, across several projects, and each one is either working, stuck, or waiting on you — the only way to find out which is to go look. meathook inverts that: agents push events, and one board shows who is working, who is stuck, and who needs you. The human is the scarce resource; the board rations your attention.

What makes it different

• Blocked never decays. An agent waiting on a permission prompt gets louder with age, not quieter. Most dashboards age silent things toward "ignore me" — which is exactly backwards, because a blocked agent emits nothing.
• Never sorted by recency. The session that spoke most recently is precisely the one that doesn't need you. The board orders by who has waited longest for a human.
• One-directional, permanently. Agents push events; nothing is ever sent back. The board cannot approve, deny, or touch your machines.
• The client is a short shell script you can read: hook.sh. The allowlist at the top is the complete list of what ever leaves a machine. Prompt and reply summaries are separate opt-ins, off by default.

Status

Private beta, single operator, source not yet public. The board is invite-only and every machine is approved by hand. If you're reading this, someone shared it with you — tell them what you think, especially if you'd be interested in using it or helping maintain it.
